At Mitchell’s we are truly committed and passionate about working with our local suppliers. By building strong relationships with local farmers and growers we are able to bring our customers quality, home grown produce from around the region, which enables us to reduce our food miles. From Cumbrian Fell Bred beef to Pilling Salt Marsh lamb; from Goosnargh farmed vegetables and locally made cheddar we are able to use the very best of local produce to give our customers excellence, every time they visit us at a Mitchell’s pub. By using fresh, local produce wherever possible we are not only supporting our regional communities but are able to provide seasonal, quality dishes on all our menus. Four of our managed houses are also proud to have been recently awarded the prestigious ‘Taste Lancashire Quality Assured’ award from the Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board. This in recognition of our fresh, quality produce sourced from local suppliers. We actively encourage our chefs across the estate to make the widest possible use of local produce to ensure the best seasonal flavours on their specials boards. Here are just a few of the companies we are proud to be associated with...
